THE STAN SKINNER TROPHY  is competed for annually by the top 8 club players.  The format being a 14 game Round Robin.

The Kaimai, Gorge and Bridge Team Challenges.

Each year, if possible  the Tauranga Club, as a team, plays challenge matches against three other teams.  The Kaimai Challenge is against the Kiwi club of Hamilton.  The Gorge Challenge is against the Rotorua Club.  The Bridge Challenge is against a branch of the Tauranga club that resides on the other side of the harbour bridge, e.g. Papamoa or Mt Maunganui.  Years not contested:  ‘nc’.
